The title riffs on comic-book sequel syntax (…Slight Return) for AOL’s SmarterChild chatbot, the same early-internet character the next track eulogizes (1996–2017).
On the 2018 lore-dump LP, recurring bits (Scoobert Snack, What a Velma, What a Night, anime theology) make the album feel like remixing Finding $D’s world rather than replacing it. The SmarterChild pair is peak collage energy: nostalgia, punchline, then fake funeral.
