Track five on $WAMI$, after Friends’s sincere pop gesture and before the Babidi features (I Want Yu Yu, Smoke That Weed Like Scooby Doobie Doo). Romantic Capitalism sits in the middle of the collage with a title that sounds like a thesis: affection and markets braided together, 2018 internet-brain humor before the anime theology takes over.
The LP is less a clean second chapter than a packet of recurring characters and joke titles. Purple Melon and 91X frame the Encinitas / Swami’s Beach seed; Romantic Capitalism is one of the named ideas inside the lore dump.
