Singing, producer, mixing, recording, drums, bass, guitar, and synthesizer are billed as Scoobert Doobert. Riley Knapp mastered it. The earlier alto saxophone credit for Nicole McCabe is not on that pane. On October 5, 2026, Spotify showed no play count for this track (1:09) or its instrumental. AFTER-PARTY showed 20,478. The counts move. Where the title track still had verses (capacity, shortcuts, bruises, the cigarette that wasn't), this one keeps only the pre-chorus rule and runs the chorus four times back to back.
Same hook, nothing good ever happens after 2 am, same answer, not ready yet, no new scenery. The night has outlasted the plot. That's the joke and the point: the party doesn't need another verse when the refusal is the whole song.
