Nothing good ever happens after 2 am
I wanna keep the party going
Grab a stranger make a friend
I don't know where to go but I know that I'm

I'm not ready to go home
  Not ready to go home
  Not ready to go home
  Not ready yet
I'm not ready to go home
  Not ready to go home
  Not ready to go home
  Not ready yet
I'm not ready to go home
  Not ready to go home
  Not ready to go home
  Not ready yet
I'm not ready to go home
  Not ready to go home
  Not ready to go home
  Not ready yet

Companion to [*AFTER-PARTY*](/songs/after-party/) on the same chapter EP. Where the title track still had verses (capacity, shortcuts, bruises, the cigarette that wasn't), this one keeps only the pre-chorus rule and runs the chorus four times back to back.

Same hook, *nothing good ever happens after 2 am*, same answer, *not ready yet*, no new scenery. The night has outlasted the plot. That's the joke and the point: the party doesn't need another verse when the refusal is the whole song.
