Luke wrote, played, mixed, and mastered; **Nick Belcher** ([Nicholas James Belcher](https://phineasandferb.fandom.com/wiki/Nick_Belcher)) enters here as the LP's operatic voice, first of his three features on the record. Los Angeles singer-songwriter (USC Popular Music), lead vocalist of [**Hammer City / The Hammers**](/with/hammer-city/) ([*Heartquake Saga*](/albums/heartquake-saga/) EP, 2016), and the voice of [**Friend Like Mine**](https://phineasandferb.fandom.com/wiki/Friend_Like_Mine) on *Phineas and Ferb*. That's why DBZ suddenly gets opera: not a random guest but a Disney-channel-adjacent belter dropped onto Namek, after three Babidi & Gokudaxij cartoon features.

The spoken opening is the canon monologue (*it is my anger that has made me blind to the truth*), the prince admitting what pride blocked. Then the sung line, twice, simple and devastating: *you're better than me Kakarot / you are the best*. Not rivalry trash-talk anymore, just surrender to fact, scored like Verdi. The closing *AHHHH (powering up to Super Saiyan)* is a stage direction in the lyrics, and the medley folds lament, Frieza, and Super Saiyan into one emotional peak.
