In the corner of a moment
You arrive inviting me to stay
  I could never pull apart
I'm where I need to be
  For the moment, holding over
Into more than I should ever take

Oh my, talked into the bitter end
Oh my my my, I'm in love with it again
  Alright if it never sent,
You'll feel it too at the bitter end

  I'm in the sidecar
  Cheering you on again
  And this is my stop
But I don't wanna get off without you
  I'm in the sidecar
  Singing along again
  And this is my stop
But I'm never getting off without you
  I'm in the sidecar
  Cheering you on again
  And this is my stop
But I don't wanna get off without you
  I'm in the sidecar
  Singing along again
  And this is my stop
But I'm never getting off without you

  Underneath attention given
I remember how you looked at me
  No surprises, no mistaking
  What we couldn't speak
  You're arriving, I'm elated
No surprise I'm in the furthest seat

Oh my, talked into the bitter end
Oh my my my, I'm in love with it again
  Alright if it never sent
You'll feel it too at the bitter end

  I'm in the sidecar
  Cheering you on again
  And this is my stop
But I don't wanna get off without you
  I'm in the sidecar
  Singing along again
  And this is my stop
But I'm never getting off without you
  I'm in the sidecar
  Cheering you on again
  And this is my stop
But I don't wanna get off without you
  I'm in the sidecar
  Singing along again
  And this is my stop
But I'm never getting off without you

**FEiN** single (**December 10, 2021**), co-written by **Luke Francis Walton** and **Brandon Michael Woodward**. Mixed and mastered by **[Frank Rosato](/with/frank-rosato/)**. Late-era FEiN; not on [*Little Homes*](/albums/little-homes-fein/).

The sidecar is the unequal vehicle the song won't admit is unequal. You're attached. You can cheer, you can sing along, you can't steer. The chorus tries to keep that arrangement clean (*this is my stop / but I don't wanna get off without you*), but each pass tightens the consent: *don't wanna* becomes *never getting off*, and the boundary becomes the bind. *No surprise I'm in the furthest seat*, closeness measured in distance from a driver who is already arriving.

Devotion as passenger role, sold as agency, with the pre-chorus calling the ending well in advance: *talked into the bitter end*. FEiN relationship-pop, after the satire and before *Liminal*'s threshold collapse.
