Scoobert Doobert remix of bed’s “mother ship” (April 2023 single). bed formed in 2022 as a Tokyo underground rave-rock/post-punk unit (UNE, SINJI, JONEU, SHUN-1), live-first, anti-industry, 2052 cyberpunk world-building rather than a normal release cycle. Public singles ran APOLOGIZE (July 2022) → Kare Wa → Michael Mann → mother ship before Archives : May 27th, 2023, their first album-length drop, intentionally a live archive (EYESCREAM) not a “1st album.”
Crack and GATA frame the live scene: techno kicks under big riffs, bedroom parties at Shibuya clubasia, warehouse-scale raves. Walton’s later credit on Kare Wa 3.0 (2025 Fuji TV HEART ATTACK OP: mixing and additional production) sits inside that same mythos.
bed is not affiliated with CHAI/OKAME, only linked here via Luke’s Japan production credits.
