Lyrics
The birds up in the tree all say good morning The rain wishing the shore a good day The water in the river always flowing Washing all my worries far away The sky is peeking through its cloudy fingers Don't be shy the sun wants out to play A rainbow as a cloud tries to linger Every brilliant color on display I'm Coronado dreaming on San Diego Bay I'm drifting on a current ease of mind On Catalina Island Sierra mountain side I'm drifting on a golden state of mind I'm drifting on my golden state of mind A vineyard on the hillside in the evening A misty little picnic by the lake Pretending like we never used a light bulb Talking by the fire about fate Everyday I'm Coronado dreaming on San Diego Bay I'm drifting on a current ease of mind On Catalina Island Sierra mountain side I'm drifting on a golden state of mind I'm drifting on my golden state of mind The birds up in the tree all say good morning The rain wishing the shore a good day The water in the river always flowing Washing all my worries far away Washing all my worries far away Washing all my worries far away

Track thirteen, the I closer. The DistroKid credit pane lists music and lyrics as Luke Francis Walton, BMI 00579587572. Producer, mixing, recording, drums, guitar, synthesizer, and singing are billed as Scoobert Doobert. Bass is Bubby Lewis. Nicole McCabe is on bass clarinet. Lou Roy is on background vocals. Riley Knapp mastered it. Grizzard Graphics did the graphic design. Coronado, Catalina, Sierra: a coast-to-mountain slice of the state, mapped in drift mode rather than hustle. The line that gives it more than postcard is talking by the fire about fate, the LP's only verse where the u and the I sit still long enough to argue cosmology. Everything else is the album exhaling.
The second turn of the Möbius cycle ends on ease, before US begins its chapter EPs in progress. A Spotify for Artists email on April 20, 2024 (10:38 a.m.) added it to All New Indie (1,270,398 followers).
Lou Roy, background vocals.
