Hope as something you chase until the weather wins. The chorus sharpens internet dread into body horror, **big data** feeding on the output of your soul: *don't take another bite / swallow me whole*.

Verse two asks when the internet started to suck. We used to paddle out and surf like an adventure; now you need to escape *the monster we made*. The title hook is both taunt and warning: *chew on this, don't choke*.
