Track two on 413 (August 2, 2013), between Tokyo and Unwhole. Straight wounded boy-band heartbreak: Walton and Woodward harmonizing over I can't fall in love with you, stacked until it fractures, with the verdict already in (I've never known a love that didn't shatter when the times got tough). The satirical brain that later powers FEiN isn't online yet. This is the template, sincerely played.
The better story is what happened next. A song built entirely around refusing to fall in love got synced nationally in a Pantene campaign with Zooey Deschanel, a can't-fall-in-love anthem repurposed to sell shampoo. The band's PR Newswire bio names the placement. It's the first Exist Elsewhere track with a national footprint.
