**bed**’s third iteration of “Kare Wa”, after the **2022** original and live **2.0** (documented on [*Archives : May 27th, 2023*](https://friendship.mu/en/release/archives-may-27th-2023/)), recorded as a new version for the Fuji TV × Skybound drama [**HEART ATTACK**](https://spincoaster.com/news/bed-kare-wa-3-0). [Spincoaster](https://spincoaster.com/news/bed-kare-wa-3-0) and [SENSA](https://sensa.jp/news/20250410-bed.html) report that director **Takeshi Maruyama** first imagined opening the show with the existing live-recorded **Kare Wa 2.0**; **bed** then proposed a newly recorded **3.0** as the definitive TV version. That is a better story than a passive sync: the drama already wanted their live energy, then the band built the opening theme.

**bed** are not a conventional Tokyo indie act, a **2022**-formed underground rave-rock/post-punk unit (UNE, SINJI, JONEU, SHUN-1) built on anti-industry live mythology, 2052 world-building, and controlled scarcity before this broadcast moment. Luke Francis Walton’s credit is **mixing and additional production** (bed sleepwell / FRIENDSHIP. release). He posted a [production demo](https://www.instagram.com/scoobertdoobert.pizza/p/DIUQ1XfSvgv/) (**April 11, 2025**) syncing the bed mix to the actual *HEART ATTACK* opening sequence—the broadcast version he mixed and co-produced as theme song.
