Standalone cover of ABBA’s “Angeleyes” (1979, Andersson/Ulvaeus) with Lou Roy on the feature vocal: August 12, 2022 per streaming metadata. @beformer announced official Spotify All New Indie placement the same day, then Ultimate Indie August 22, 2022, and Dinner with Friends August 29, 2022. Same collaborator thread as I, Roy sings background vocals on six LP tracks (see with hub and album notes).

Scoobert’s version keeps the original’s river-walk betrayal setup — look into his angeleyes, you'll think you're in paradise: but routes it through bedroom-pop production rather than disco glitter. The lowercase title matches other casual Scoobert single slugs from the period.

Distro: Beformer. No lyrics published here (cover).

Circulation (public + private archive): Shazam lists 20,384 Shazams on angeleyes (feat. Lou Roy) (release August 12, 2022, label Beformer; songwriters Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, Stig Anderson on public metadata). BIRP! listed the track in its September 2022 Indie Playlist. SecondHandSongs places the recording in the ABBA Angeleyes cover lineage. Private archive records, including friend videos and account-visible playlist evidence, indicate that much of the Shazam activity came from H&M in-store rotation — not an official H&M sync or campaign, and not publicly confirmed by H&M unless a public playlist log surfaces.
