Lyrics

A real monster

Trunks, Bulma
I do this for you
You know it's true
And yes
Even for you
Kakarot
Kakarot

And so!
One of Earth's
Greatest warriors
Has vanished in a blinding flash of life
Having made the ultimate sacrifice
For the sake of his loved ones
His name was Vegeta
His name was Vegeta
His name was Vegeta
A proud Saiyan prince

(Wait. Ok. Keep me going.)
Looks like the end of the
Ro-oh-oh-d Majin Buu
I could sense good in you
You're just a naughty child
A playful naughty child
Na-na-na-naughty child
And it's a darn shame
Now you are dying
I wanna spar with you
I will wait you-who-who
I will wait for
I will wait for
I will wait for you!

Content

Track nine on Dragon Ball $d, feat. Nick Belcher. Luke wrote, played, mixed, and mastered; Belcher's third and final feature, and the longest track on the album (~3:28). Same Phineas and Ferb belter, two saga endings in one medley.

Part one is Vegeta's Final Explosion: a goodbye to Trunks, Bulma, and even for you, Kakarot, capped by a narrator eulogy that repeats his name was Vegeta into the ground. It bookends Prince of All Saiyans. Then the track refuses to stop at the funeral. A stage direction (Wait. Ok. Keep me going.) hands it to part two, where Goku reframes the monster as a kid worth pitying (you're just a naughty child) and signs off on the Uub setup: I will wait for you. Death, then patience. Opera grief and cartoon tenderness in one slot.

Next: Party at Capsule Corp. (Nah Nah Nah), where Babidi & Gokudaxij return once the arc ends.
