The second verse runs the always-on economy from dial-up AIM through Venmo, crypto and IG to the punchline: so so many wires / now it makes sense that we tied up. The title leans into the same 5G it sexualizes, the network that during the pandemic also got blamed for spreading the virus by conspiracy theorists. Here it just means never lonely on the long road again. Same lane as All My Friends Live on the Internet, hornier and poppier.
