  **Chic Chameleon** is Patrick Froese’s Edmonton dream-pop / shoegaze project. He has a bachelor’s in jazz and contemporary music, then left the chops-flex (Joshua Redman *Jazz Crimes* in school) for the stuff he actually wants to hear back: chill indie rock with a wall of sound. Shoegaze, in his telling, is literally gazing at your shoes: enveloped, not showing off.
