Lot 17, four-track EP by Kerri Medders (April 17, 2017; ~14 minutes, ℗ Kerri Medders): Slipping, Cry, Cry, How Will I Know (Whitney Houston cover), and Don't Give In. Stream on Spotify · Apple Music. Texas-born singer-songwriter and actress (SEAL Team, Alexa & Katie); follows earlier Etched (2015) and the 2016 single Fall Away — ISC 2016 semi-finalist listing Kerri Medders, Luke Walton, and Brandon Woodward as songwriters, with Pop Culturalist and Teenplicity naming Walton and Woodward as producers who also double as my band members. Kerri framed Lot 17 as a frozen-in-time snapshot of age 17: Teenplicity on the vulnerable sophomore EP and an '80s-leaning pop/alternative palette across the originals.
Luke Francis Walton co-wrote, produced, and played on the full EP with Brandon Woodward — not a single-track credit. In Ouch! Magazine, Kerri says every song on Lot 17 except the cover was co-written with producers Brandon Woodward and Luke Francis: Kerri’s Luke Francis is Luke Francis Walton (formal PRO/credits name). Cry, Cry and Don't Give In later appear on the Do Not Reply soundtrack (2019), where Cry, Cry credits production to FEiN aka Luke Walton and Woodward — same person, shortened in 2017–2019 press, not the NBA coach.
The EP cycle helped launch a High School Nation tour where Medders opened for Plain White T's and Drake Bell in front of 90,000+ (per artist bio). Don't Give In later appeared on the Do Not Reply (2019) film score, where Medders starred.
